Oh and it is much easier to hit them at over 500m if you can see your arrow path.
You're shooting a recurve at FIVE HUNDRED METRES and complaining that it's taking more than one arrow?

As I said, it's your money.

NO I am complaining that none of the hits registered. Had to kill it with rifle.

If that only happened with that particular animal something went wrong, but if you can test and see if happens with more animals then it should be reported as bug, also, what is the stated max distance than arrows can reach in game? there is some very long crossbow shots using altitude to gain range, but in the plain, arrows are supposed to fall much shorter than bullets.

Depends on your graphics settings. If you're playing on "low" scene complexity, it's unchanged (220 meters). On "medium" it's 270 meters and on "high" and "very high" it's 320 meters.
Thank you :)

@VonStratos Yes I am very aware of what an arrow does, but I am shooting from a very high elevation, nearly straight down. It is nothing new, but it is way past time that it should be fixed right along with the spook distance.

Can I please also point out to the ones that don’t know him, and it’s just a little advice. Tony (INTIMID883R) is a highly respected member of this community, and knows very well what he is doing in the game. He’s also a man that tells it exactly how it is. Trifle with him at your own risk ;) Just a little advice from your friendly neighborhood Uncle BNB! ;)

The first thing I noticed after update is the stability of aim from tower (deployable) is gone. Now aiming the swing is very strong. But also on the ground is the same, without scope, too, the swing is much stronger than before.

My best guess is that may be another of the issues that came up with the ERR patch, unless this happened before, but other than fill a bug report i cant figure what else can you do, i mean the arrows are there in the bear, so they hit the thing that much is clear, if none of the arrow hits is registered then that's is a bug, and there are comps with long distance shooting with arrows, so i hope it get fixed.

The team relased an update,
for testing it was rather too late
but they said what the hell
"they still can play it well"
And released it rather than wait....

Now beasts can no LONGER be shot
With rifles or arrows or not
And they still disappear
And the Hunters do fear
Their harvesting skills are forgot....

So how to climb out of this hole
Some may say some rope and a pole
but equipment is lost
at exorbitant cost
and the update 'aint reaching it's goal....

Now think what to do for it's late...
By setting the hunters some bait?
and I would do it in haste
As we worry and wait
The salt and the corn must be placed.....

Ah yes we have been here and more
We enter the large turning door
It will work in the end
With the patch they will send.....

And we ask "Why not do that before"....

Cheers

Schlachtwolf
My opinion may not be right, but it is the one I like most :D
