Without a doubt, best weekly update this game has had in a long time.
Good to see the game can still get improvements like render distance without changing the game engine and people with toaster PCs can still play. :)
Thumbs up from me, wish every weekly update was like this.
I have over 1337 kills with my Longbow at 100% kill rate.

some great additions.this will change gameplay in many ways which many probably havent even thought about.also i think some people may not be happy though as the render distance will be tied to pc performance.it is weird though as long range shooters going for max distance max may want low scene complexity for the ultimate long shots.will be interesting to see how current scopes workout at maximum ranges.also what bullet drop effects are like.maybe 500m shots possible now.

cant wait to try the new additions out.really been looking forward to something " new " for classic. this could tick the boxes.bring on release. 8-)

As I already said in another topic, PC hardware evolves and at one point people need to decide whether to invest or accept to be left behind. But everyone will still be able to play, worst case for people with very old PCs is not being able to use the increased render distance. No reason to complain if you ask me.

And actually I'm happy that players can't have it too easy by using low scene complexity and high render range at the same time. Might be a motivation to tune up the graphics for everyone who's able to do so. :)

Agreed, but I guess until it goes live, the impact on gameplay won't be fully understood.

I actually think it was a smart move to tie render distance to scene complexity. It means if your rig can handle it you will get to enjoy the increased render distance, but you won't be able to turn down the scene complexity to gain an unfair advantage in long range competitions. Smart move from the developers.

Looking forward to trying this out.

Thx for this update .

Thoughts :
- Having to buy another spotting scope / rifle scope, i'm not so happy about that .
Q : Does this new spotting scope have range finder included as a function ?
- How about the players that have the old spotting scope will have it removed from their inventory and will also get , idk, $50 off the new one ?

- Multiplayer Deployables , is an awesome thing !! Finally !!! This will make hunting with friends way more enjoyable .

Anxious to see that !
