Re: Status Update - 18th April
To be fair Ravenous, I was bringing it up saying that I didn't think they would add them on Picabeen Bay because it doesn't really match their environment. From what I read they reside primarily in open wetlands so I figured they wouldn't go on as wooded of a map as PB.Ravenousfox wrote:oh, I must've missed it.Tod1d wrote:I think you just might be right...Ravenousfox wrote:Have a feeling I was right, Magpie Goose.

Re: Status Update - 18th April
Thanks for the answer..... Does that mean I'll have to take 2 different bullets for Rabbit & Fox? because somehow for some reason I don't think the allow list will make much senseTreeKiwi wrote:Hey Gas!gas56 wrote:Kiwi,.. got 1 question,.. is the New .17 HMR HV bullets going to replace the Old ones? Yes or No?
No it doesn't fully replace it, you will now have two ammo types to pick from. More tools in your box so to speak
if it is changed. In all truth the .17 HMR was supposed to be what you guys are making it capable of doing with the new bullet.
But you would think I would be used to the way it is handled in the game by now...............
BTW..... will this now probably open up for other rifles with other bullets and allowable lists on each type? The .270 with heavier grain bullets for Elk maybe?.....
You guys have opened up a whole new Wasps nest... be prepared to get out the bug spray..........

Re: Status Update - 18th April
Releasing a new species that has monetization potential, and not taking advantage of it, would be very unusual. Besides the callers are new, and they created new decoys. Why go to that effort if the existing decoys and callers worked? They wouldn't.ronMctube wrote:magpie geese look very well done.hopefully we can use our other geese set ups to hunt them.

Re: Status Update - 18th April
If is a new waterfowl species then we will have to buy new decoys and callers, that much is clear from our past experience, but i hope the RB ground blind can be used at least, and i hope a new shotgun to spice up the things, yes i like shotguns, oh man i hope they at least release a convenient bundle with the geese for the sake of the pockets from the people that will want to get the setup...like me probably.
