First of all: Thanks for the update.

But to be honest, I don't like the new HS system at all.

I absolutely agree.
What I understand is that every harvest now awards me 2 HS points (one for the animal and one for the weapon) unless either species or weapon class is already capped at 500. For most players (especially the new ones) it means that HS = harvests*2. I'm sorry to say that but that's not very creative and all but motivating for the players in my opinion. With the old achievements system left in, we'll now have ranks, achievements and skills for every weapon (class) and every species and considering that a lot of new players already found the old system confusing, that's not going to get better I guess.

Well, let's see how it develops, but for me HS and achievements probably won't play any role in the future. Not a big deal since I still got missions, competitions and other goals to keep me motivated... :)

Turkey – 90% existing achievement points possible
Red Fox – 75% existing achievement points possible
Black Bear – 50% existing achievement points possible
Roosevelt Elk – 25% existing achievement points possible
Moose – 5% existing achievement points possible
What is this supposed to mean?
Does Turkey mean I have reached 10% of available AP? If yes why not just simply say so instead of taking an around way of saying it?

If you have reached the Turkey it means that you have 90% of the total existing achievement points possible and that there only is 10% left.

What does that even mean? Does Turkey lvl mean that a hunter has achieved 10% of possible points?

Also, how is it possible that the rank system shows 0 at .454. Revolvers, while my achievement tag shows 62 harvests with the Toro?

please keep in mind what luna said.
the scores are currently being recalculated for all players, which might take up some more hours.
your score will update faster when you start and close a game session!
