If you really think it's unplayable, why are you wasting time playing it ? ;)
Because i paid for it (1000$+)? Because i play the game straight for 3 years now? I pay so i want 100% of what i pay for , i dont think EW would like me buying memberships ,ems on credit.Ofc you play the game about 150hours spend some $ without knowing what happened in the past,so you may dont care about the game at all but me and others care a lot :)

I would like to leave it but i(and most of the players) love the game , it maybe takes years for EW to understand.

just before you say that : i paid almost 1000$ yes, i didnt have as fun as i paid for, so dont use the common excuse!

Works for a one-man team, but not for anything else.

Software development is complex. There are a lot of moving parts. There are millions of decisions to balance. If you hate buggy releases, avoid the new content for at least six months. It is exactly the same as if they waited to fix all the bugs before release. At least by releasing early, those with a higher tolerance for bugs can still enjoy it.

This naivety is amazing. There are never a bug-free releases, even less the more complex a game (like this ever-growing title) becomes.

The aim of every game-producing company in the world is to release, first and foremost, a playable version with as little bug numbers as possible, but at the same time being fully aware that some additional glitches will inevitably be in it and - hopefully - detected by the playing community. It is also not that such a patch is not carefully tested beforehand. Its simply that there is a time point where more testing in the "protected" pre-release environment will not reveal an significant improvement that would justify holding back the update for longer. The probability curve leading to "null bugs" is an asymptote, mathematically spoken. I see this as a act of balance, and I guess that even the most annoyed perfectionist would understand that if he ever had to produce a game himself...
Ofc , but when you release something (with its own bugs) you fix it before release something else. After wrr release nothing works as it used too. I just wonder (i think all of us wonder) they dont test it before release? They dont know how to play their own game? For example, when you couldnt walk through trees in TBT,or animal track problem, sounds etc. How can i experience all these bugs and they cant? Its not about just glitches but serious bugs, its about the whole gameplay ,sounds animations etc which make the game unplayable.
1) Nothing working as it used to after the WRR release is an exaggeration, to put it mildly.
2) We do test it, but we don't have thousands of testers, we are just a bunch of people and things that working good on our PCs won't necessarily work as great on PCs of thousands of people playing theHunter every day, with their millions of software and hardware combinations. If we were to employ an external QA agency to test everything, the cost of memberships will be much, much higher. A lot of people who are members right now wouldn't be able to buy a membership, we would lose our revenue and theHunter slowly would cease to exist.

Love and money are two different things ( I won't tell you how much I sunk in flight sims these last years ! :) ). You spent that money because you wanted to spend it, nobody forced you, so that's not a valid point. I spent for The Hunter less than a 100 $ and I'm having hours of fun. Of course there are sometimes a few bugs and glitches, but I have never played a perfect game so far ( and I played quite a few since the 80s... ).

I felt your comment about the game being "unplayable" a little bit "over the top", this is why I made this joke... And I find EW rather reactive and communicating with their player base, compared to other games with much larger dev teams... :)

Totally agree, this is why I never buy new games or DLCs on release, but a few months later, and this is also why I didn't start really hunting in Timbergold Trails except for a couple of "sightseeing tours". I will start when most bugs have been located and killed, probably in a month from now.

People these days can't seem to be able to wait anymore, the last new thing on Steam is to sell unfinished games called "Early Access" !

What gives? There is a new patch for TheHunter but in my game , which now I cannot get into because it is telling me that that needs to install FULL game, 8+ gb. I already installed the game a long time ago so why now the FULL installation?

We had to force a full installation on everyone after the update yesterday, because we had issues with the launcher. It's not 8 Gb though, it's 4.32 Gb.

That's all well and good. However, my guess is that other gaming companies, once notified of a bug or bugs, fix them. They don't send an email saying your bug report is resolved, which is a bot that just sends it.

Well my experience with games ( and I played many and still do today ) is that most game companies just stop fixing bugs after a few months ( except if they want to sell you some DLCs ! ) ;) And many don't send emails at all...

Yes, but your experience with games is limited. First by your own admission, and secondly by the statistics on your profile. Just a guess, could be wrong, but I suspect it's the same for other games you play...six months later.
