Be aware that opting into the beta on Steam will replace the regular launcher. You won't be able to play the beta and non-beta through Steam. At least that's how it was for the last beta.
Thank you so much!!!

go to Board index > official Information & News - Information and news about the hunter > latest news & announcements >
then click on beta testing by phillip, read it and there will be an underlined link.

How to participate in the testing:
1.Starting from tomorrow, February 17th, around 16:00 CET, go to thehunterbeta.com and create a new account/login to your existing one
2.If you are new to open beta – Download and install the beta game client from Downloads.
3.Hunt, hunt, hunt!

I'm glad this will be open for around a week, I will probably go try it out, and see what bugs come up with it....

Phillip, hope everyone gets better soon, and it can go on as planned.

Okay...
I'm disappointed
it seems that they launch only this beta test for polar bears, nothing to debug as old bug 16005 and other (dogs, stat ...)
I like the idea of bear hunting, but not in these current circumstances

I participated in the beta for ducks before, and already there was a bug 16005
Why always add weapons and features that will add other bugs without fix old bugs

Nothing changes
They never go debug this game
No doubt they can not

I'll participate... creating account and DL the beta seem to be little slow at the moment, so might be best to wait until to morrow ;)
Hunt with your head not with your itchy trigger finger.. and things probably turn out a lot more successful and fun ;)

By the way, would someone quickly tell me when 6:00 CET is for Eastern US? I forget the difference.

Assuming you mean 16:00 CET, it's 10:00 am EST.
Personal Bests...
