I think they should only make it visible to people that have it. Seems slightly cruel otherwise!

Would make no sense for others to see a gun or item, that they never be able to buy or get.

its like.. if u participated in jambore bets, bought all caps for 2000 em, won golden shotgun... if u didnt bought caps but still want golden pump - buy it for 5000 em.. question is "will it be available for all, after +6 months.. and will they add achievements for it"...

What ? It will never be available to buy ! That's what makes it so special.
(And that's the reason why you are not able to raise your HS with it, cause everyone should have the same chance to get the highest HS )

Q: Will the Shotgun be released in the store in the future?
A: No, it is only possible to obtain the Shotgun with gold engraving by buying the corresponding cap of the winning team. It will never be available to purchase in theHunter Store.

And i didn't pay 2000em$ for the caps. More something about the half of it.

And some lucky guys only bought the german cap and got it for 120em$ ! They deserve it.
