So a hairy, slope-faced greyhound then? :D

My dog's a lovely lurcher - whippet x Bedlington. Brilliant dog, faster than poo off a shovel.

My money's on a greyhound - or a greyhound dominant cross.

Greetings everyone and thanks for all your nice words, I'm very touched by the welcome you gave me! Sorry for my belated reply, sadly, my first week with theHunter got interrupted with a surgery on my right wrist. Although I am still not as fit as a fiddle, I'll do my best to be slowly catching up and you'll be seeing a lot of me in the forums. I know that many of you have been wishing for a community manager for a long time, so I hope I can live up to your expectations and together we'll make this great game and community even more enjoyable for everyone.

I have great hopes here that Alena will whip this damn forum into tip-top shape. Plus she is much better looking than the rest of you!
jiferrel, optimizing the forums and bringing more life and people here is definitely one of my priorities. Please let me know whether there is something in particular you'd like to see changed. Thanks for the nice words, imo our devs are also a pretty good looking gang ;)

Having a community manager AND (finally) a lady on the team is great news! I am sure languages is not an issue for you. Perfect for this game. :)
HooCairs, yes, I love that this community is so multicultural. Yes, we're not there yet when it comes to gender diversity, both team- and community- wise ;)
slichaos wrote:As you probably already know this community can be pretty rough on the team at times. Alena...I hope you have thick skin ;).
cabelam wrote: Thank you for signing on Alena, and I hope you know what you got yourself into!
Silchaos, Cabelam, it's normal for communities to be a handful now and then, that is mostly a sign that members care about the game. Plus I have grown some patches of thick skin here and there over years. I believe that honest conversation and mutual respect can solve all misunderstandings and frustrations, we're all in the same boat here and wishing for the same outcome. But thank you for warning anyway ;)
ColoradoKid wrote: But I am concerned about Alena and Jonathan's typing abilities. In Jonathans picture he has a brace on his Left wrist, and crazy snowboarding Alena has a broken Right wrist. I guess between the two of you, you could sit side by side and each contribute one good hand and type!
ColoradoKid, hehe, could be a good idea. I guess Jonathan won't be too happy about it though... Of all the animals I can draw, only a giraffe is half-decent looking :D
