Perhaps due to the fact (?) that game's engine attributes damage and ballistic data more to ammo than to weapon itself, or even weapon plus ammo combo. At least in most instances (bows may be different I guess, so maybe some other weapons too). And a pistol should obviously posses worse penetration over distance values, velocities, bullet drop, etc., than a rifle. So I guess it is easier to achieve this by new ammo set, than by introducing some weapon moddifiers. But this is just my gues.RidgeBack69 wrote:I am curious.
The .50 Inline Muzzleloader and the 50 Inline Muzzleloader pistol are the same aside from barrel and stock/grip length. So why do thy not share the same .50 Cal ammo?
