I am not sure about this one!
I was on a tree stand and sent the pointer (L50) to radar before fast traveling to another spot.
It detected one Grouse and walked away.
In ~100m distance it warned me and finally the Grouse (finally I got it. Not a monster < 6kg) spooked.

There seems to be another issue with the pointer. This hunt it happened twice that - after send to track birds - the pointer moved to a far away spot at rather high speed.
Seems like, it has some old position "in mind".

Has anyone noticed the crossbow pistol has a much larger spook radius when used for grouse? Even when 100 % hv it still spooks game 20 + meters away.

I also noticed that. It rather different than it was before.
I have not tested, if that is related to Grouse or to the weapon (which would mean turkeys as well)

To be more precise: not the shot will spook the others, killing one will do. You can still miss several times and they will not spook

Wood Grouse are completely ignoring two male wood grouse decoys, walking right through and past them. Every time.
