Show off your " Deployable Range "

Post by rhapsodaisical »

I have to admit. I love the new targets. But I find it hard to find a spot where I can place at least 4 mats next to each other and create an unobstructed range up to 300m. This setup should be equal chance/range to targets for a group of friends doing competitions.

I always find that there is either trees blockign one or more mats, or one being higher than the others IF they fit 4 in a row at all. I can't find a decent spot so please share!

I've put mine in BRR along the railroad track. No trees , no bushes and can be in a little incline with my mat on the side of the mountain.
Pretty much same place as Tod's layout .
Can be seen at page 4 of :Status Update (Will be Thursday this week)

Remember, you can use the reserve mapping tools in UHC to share your deployable target ranges ;)

I know, another shameful plug. But, it's a quick way of sharing coordinates for anyone that gets a good setup.

Here is a good spot. Not far away from a lodge, 320 meters.

IMO its mostly just a new toy to play with. It does have some interesting possibilities for competitions & it will give you some useful feedback when do extreme long range shooting.

Thx for sharing your short video on your setup . What fooled me at first , is the writing in red , mostly the word ''on'' .
Because i also thought it was a great spot , clear of everything , but ''on'' the frozen lake , i couldn't put any targets .
After seeing your video , its known now that its '' around '' .

thx again for the video .

Adding to SoftShoe's reply ,practice in any sports , lets say , will give you knowledge ,skills in what you want to achieve . So yes , an advantage vs. a regular person that doesn't practice . ( unless this person doesn't need practice because he's a ''natural '' , like some say .)
Its done in many many sports , so we have the possibility to practice long shots in the game now .
Its a personal thing .
