Water Buffalo scoring 279.778 & 47th on the leaderboard. Not above the magic 280 score, but we're getting there. Won the Top Water Buffalo intermediate comp.
Willow ptarmigan scoring 792(A) & a shared 24th on the leaderboard. Ah. Ptarmigans. God, I hate those freaks. Tried to get a 700 for a mission.
But after he'd circled, thrown himself sideways, and in general been a royal PITA, I got up and emptied the clip after him. Got him at 20.17m... Decent score tho.
And then this bad boy Roe deer scoring a whooping 253.014 & 18th on the leaderboard. I was trying to call in another roe deer in Hemmeldal, but he never showed up. I then heard footsteps slowly coming in from the other side and saw a 230-260 spotting monster approaching!
I though I'd give the recurve a go, since he was a sure top 3, but I knew that he'd probably spook since I was on the ground. On the other hand he had the large open valley in the SW behind him, so he couldn't really hide. I gave it a go and got up while equipping the bow. I didn't even get the bow equipped before he took off, not surprising.
When he settled down I took him down with the 223 rifle instead.
