Great trophy animals everyone! I managed to harvest another personal best. This time a bighorn. It was an exciting hunt. I spooked him twice before finally landing a shot. He sort of surprised me and suddenly appeared in front of my face when I was trying to peek over a hill expecting him to be much farther ahead of me. I wasn't about to let him spook a third time and have to track him again so he got the gun. I don't think he knew what hit him at that distance.

Spotted a max weight red fox walking around in the river in VdB, and the only weapon I had was the crossbow(forgot to swap the weapon on the photo).
Tried to call him in, but he took his time, so by the time he got to the call spot, it had gone cold. And he started to walk off.
I decided to take a chance, and called from my hiding spot. Fortunately these big boys are usually slow to come in whatever the distance, so he slowly walked towards me - and gave me a surprisingly easy shot at 25m. And damn! New PB and probably a top leaderboard fox for some time!
