Very good looking elk, would of easily been 400+ if his back tines were a bit longer.

Attempts # for Brian's comp :
1 - is the score i have right now .
2 - Missed a shot on a Bear that moved at the last second = Failed hunt
3 - Hunt was ok , until i came up upon a very nice 500kg Elk bull 335@385 score estimate , that i shot , prone , not far in the vitals . He ran . First track was H/L the second , body . Tracked him a while to conclude that he would never die from that shot and needed another bullet . = Failed hunt
4 - This morning , Bears at barrel , shot one from above TS in vitals again , ran and stuck to 52% health . Tracked him a bit to also conclude , after stepping in his poo many times , that he would not die from that shot . = Failed hunt


So , with 1 attempt left , i decided to wait for the steam to evaporate from my head and do a hunt for ACL .

I was just joking, Serge. But yeah, your explanation makes sense. I can imagine the steam above your head...

I left the "real man .45 LC camp" (that is led by a woman right now ) and decided to use the .44 from now on! I just can't take any more crawling on my belly towards a potential trophy bear or elk to get as close as possible, only to have it turn away in the exact second I press the trigger.

It is indeed a laser beam! Bullet hits exactly where i aim it. I tested out the same thing with .308 on goats and at 300 m there is a 3 foot bullet drop. Definetly a huge difference.

That's a big ibex style feral goat DYEUZ - pity they don't have separate leaderboards or comps.

I got a PB vertical twist a few days ago scoring 170.034
