Hard to tell if that's a melanistic or just a dark color variation. You have a bigger pic?

black wolves are common in the wild. I once saw a pack that had mainly black wolves in Idaho.

I think longman's is but there is a problem with the score page not recognizing it. I can't imagine anything more black than that. I've gotten some that were black with grey underneath.
