Re: Post your Albino/Piebald/Melanistic!
Please forgive atrocious trophy shot--birds are so hard to pose. But my first rare fowl of any variety--normally I just hunt deer. I set up a Canada Goose setup some months back but rarely use it, and went out today. Shot at a flock, took one bird down, was confused to still hear rustling to one side of me. I turned to look and a bright white bird, to my surprise, was casually walking around beside the blind. I suspect the shotgun spooked her and she flew to me instead of away. Very nice surprise I'll add a trophy lodge shot in later (done!); always nice to have a bird to add to the lodge, as I rarely hunt them.

Just another Black hybrid Mallard, i'm saying just as i seem to only get them when i get a rare mallard.
Funny thing about her was that i actually joined in a friends game north on the Bayou, and i immediately got a duck call, just for one i decided to check it out and i saw that there was a black duck swimming around with a couple of mallard drakes. I almost couldn't belive it was a Rare, but it damn sure was.

I missed out on a trophy shot somehow but managed to meet my target in a thread I made earlier this year https://forum.thehunter.com/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=86172.
Kinda bummed I couldn't get the trophy shot but I hope it still counts. Been on the lookout for a rare roo since I knew rares were a thing lol. Glad it came up to be mounted though
Who is the lady in the photo btw? Anyone in particular or just a random photogenic lady?
EDIT: Nice to see the Roos have a "proper" Albino texture too Was easy to spot in the outback.
