Re: Post your Albino/Piebald/Melanistic!
My first Piebald Red Deer, ever..unfortunately, I had only shotgun with me and I made a mistake using bugshot instead of slug to harvest it...that Santa's beard is now soaked with tears
Such a wide range of emotions shooting this one: excitement to see it, fear (getting close with shotgun by the wind, because of the lake), pure happiness after shot (he drop on the spot), and then banging my head against table hard, after realizing the mistake.
(looking into his facial expression, even this red deer seems to be unhappy with this)

Brown Leucistic (F) Canada Goose.
No trophy shot because when there are 15 birds on the ground I want to harvest them before they start bouncing preventing me from doing so. I did have one bird that never did drop to the ground. It floated there for more than 20 minutes (real time). I finally went directly under it, looked up at it & I was able to harvest it.
I would have taken the shot if there was an alert to the fact that it was a rare / variation!!!
