Blacktail Deer
Score: 76.062
Got this nice piebald blacktail at a deployable tower that is in the same field as tower six. This spot has produced some nice animals for me. Last week I had gotten a 68+ Turkey and now I got this. I botched the shot on this buck but OldDan the scenthound tracked him down. So he (the dog) actually has a right to look proud in the trophy shot.

Shot this what I believe to be a melanistic mule deer doe on Timbergold Trails with the .300 Bolt Action rifle.
I was actually bowhunting from treestands and when I climbed into the first one I saw this doe up river.
I am very happy because it is my first rare if it is a melanistic.
