Nice I love piebalds congrats cogsy. Went to get a score on the board for todays xmas comp and first red fox that came into my call was this one.

Hi guys!

I am interested in a little statistics! How many harvests/rare do you have?
I have cc 1000 harvests/ 1 albino, 3 piebald, 1 melanistic, 2 non typicals..
What is your statistics?
I am really interested how many times these animals turn up...

It is hard to say how many animals I have seen in the game because most we don't shoot, but I guess probably 250.000-300.000. From these I have
Piebald: 81
Albino: 44
Melanistic: 27
Non-typicals: 38
Silver-tipped: 14
Leucistic: 4
Waterfowl rares: 35
Missed: 13 (seen but not shot for various reasons)
Total seen: 256
Harvested w/o realizing it was rare: ???

My personal estimation is that 1 in 1000 animals is a rare. Some are more rare than others as you can see above. Non-typicals are a lot more common than rare fur types. They were only added 3 years ago.

My first one was a melanistic as well, but don't think they are rare as we both got them as our first one (I saw this before i started the game).

But i will be sad if they are rare, as i didn't take a pic

I did taxidermize it though like you did. For me personally it doesn’t feel the same to get it now when the spawn rate is a bit messed up, than what it would be when it actually is rare. But i did taxidermize it anyway, in case i never find one again it would be nice to have it in the lodge

Is that really a water buffalo? The horns look like that of a Banteng to me, but I might be mistaken.
