Recently some forum users received a link redirecting them to a fake version of this forum: h**p://forum-thehunter.tk.
This site is not associated with us and if you log into it you will probably have your account stolen.
---
Some ways that you can detect Phishing attempts:
1. If you receive a PM with a link to a thread on this forum you should not have to log in again since you are already logged in.
2. Check the URL in the address-bar of your browser. If it begins with anything else than http://forum.thehunter.com something is awry.
3. Always be suspicious of links, especially if sent by a newly registered user with a low post count.
---
Finally I would recommend that you use different passwords for every site where you have an account. That way you don't risk having your whole life stolen if you fall into one of these traps.
If you use a Password manager such as KeePass you don't need to keep them all in your head.
