I just gave up on harvesting a really nice mulie that had WALKED toward shore. I shot it 21m out thinking if HE could walk there, so could I. Well... no matter what route I tried to get to him, I couldn't. This probably cannot be fixed easily. Moral of the story: "Blast'em at the bank."

Many times, if you walk out of render range the animal will get re-dropped when it comes back into render range, and it will float to shore or a place where you can harvest it.

In the end , we should not be supposed to do this action . Is this copied from real life ?!Tod1d wrote:Many times, if you walk out of render range the animal will get re-dropped when it comes back into render range, and it will float to shore or a place where you can harvest it.

But of course, no real hunter would get their feet wet to harvest an animal. Jeez DYEUZ what have you been drinking?DYEUZ wrote:In the end , we should not be supposed to do this action . I don't know. I've dropped things in the water and left, only to come back later and find it washed up on shore in real life, so maybe it happensDYEUZ wrote:In the end , we should not be supposed to do this action . Or you could wait until they fix it.DYEUZ wrote:In the end , we should not be supposed to do this action . I always have a boat with ducks and geese, I don't smoke, and a sandwich is far to valuable to ever put somewhere where there is even a slight risk of it going overboard.DYEUZ wrote:What were those things ? I'm talking baseball hats, beach balls, frisbees, and other stuff like that. I once dropped my pocket knife 20 yards off shore in 5 feet of water and found it on the shore three days later.
