Yeah I thought I wanted to be a programmer when I was a kid, wound up dropping out of college and working blue collar for many years. Then going back to college and work in IT (networking) now. :)

My son wants to be a Clinical Psychologist. :)

Kids... I'm old enough to remember when kids actually went outside to play & stayed there until the street lights came on.

My 1st PC was a Vic 20, I got it as a Christmas present when it 1st hit the market. Think I was 15-16yrs old.

Yeah you got a few years on me, I was probably around 8-10 when I got my Vic. But I remember those days of being banished outside as well.

I used to get banished outdoors as punishment when I was being a punk. It was my equivalent of being grounded. I hated it. Sun and fresh air ... that was for the loser kids 8-)

I also used to get excited when the street lights came on. It meant I could go home and fire up the PC again!
