Re: A Thought On Different Environments
I find it a good idea to split the big isle. And than a few different European areas, maybe a Scandinavian, an Alpine, a Highland a mixed typical middle European landscape and everywere roe deers and some typical other species from this areas.
I'm starting to dream ...

Hm, the idea of having a 3D globe on the web where you set your starting position is very interesting. I´ve always thougt i´d like to have the maps on the web looking and working similar to Google Maps, but perhaps it´s a Google Earth type of thing we should aim for instead

3d globe does scream of google earth
you need somethnig that looks cool but is very simplistic and easy to access. dont want to spend ten minutes looking where to join every game

I'd ofcourse like to see a snowy area like everyone else, but I think an out west setting like arizona etc would be cool too, like the ones in the old deer hunter games.

I support this highly. Especialy Scandinavian. Im a Swede and i went out hunting with a friend of mine who is 28 .. I can really say that the enviroment was very adventure happy.
I also highly support African enviroment because deserts can be fun, Snow can be fine too but we would need different clothes if we wanted to make it realistic.

Re: A Thought On Different Environments
Seems to me, it doesn't really matter which way you
go except in terms of say placing africa next to say an
american themed map n u could see the other themed
area in the distance, wouldn't work.
However, how maps are arranged in a world is really
irrelevant, only thing that matters is the content,
the theme, and the distant terrain is separate from
other themes.
I also would prefer MP first, then Africa, and
hoping and praying next to be a Ilse de Sorna, Dinosaur
themed map. Would kill for that lol
