Top guide, so if you do Dall sheep and Snowshoe Hare you get 20000gm$ + gm$ from kills, use that to buy .44 magnum handgun & scope & Elk caller then jump on to the Roosevelt Elk missions, complete them. Then buy .270 use free sight and do Mule missions.
20000gmS(Dall&Snowshoe) - 7225(.44) - 4250(pistol scope) - 2720 (elk caller) = 5805gm$
17,000gm$(Elk)+5805gm$(previous total) = 22,805gm$
22,805gm$ - 9333(.270) = 13,472gm$
Now do Mule mission for 12,000gm$
12,000gm$+13,472gm$= 25,472gm$
Now purchase mission reset for 13,600gms
25,472gm$ - 13,600gm$ = 11,872gm$
Redo those 4 missions as now have no weapon outlay and you get 49000gm$
11,872gm$+49,000gm$ = 60,872gm$
Reset missions again at 13,600gms
60,872gm$ -13,600gm$ = 47.272gms
Reset brings in another 49,000gm$ + 47,272gm$ = 96,272gm$ in your funds.
Not added gm$ from kills to total.
Now purchase rest of WT weapons and treat your self to a tent.
Do WT missions and buy what you need long as you keep back 13,600gm$ for mission reset you can rinse and repeat.

Re: The True Cost of Missions
Although none of missions packs are profitable if you do them alone, there is about 200k profit if You do ALL of them. That is if my math was correct and almost 600k more if You repeat missions

Re: The True Cost of Missions
muchos thankos skraldrog for the OP.
Previously, I hadn't gotten to the missions but this time around, I want to.
Your analysis and work is fantastic. I'd already started out on the Whitetail Deer mission set (looking for that 8 pointer next).
I guess I'll be using this tool going forward as a reference.

Re: The True Cost of Missions
extremely useful, also Ptarmingan mission pack is free to go through as I know + shotgun missions (theese packs may take a good time to complete fully but sometimes it may better than doing same missions)ogruls wrote:Top guide, so if you do Dall sheep and Snowshoe Hare you get 20000gm$ + gm$ from kills, use that to buy .44 magnum handgun & scope & Elk caller then jump on to the Roosevelt Elk missions, complete them. Manged to do this mission pack in 17 minutes, 46 seconds, 882 milliseconds. Which should be the fastest mission pack in the hunter, as well as the highest GM per minute rate (1.067 GM a second).skraldrog wrote: Whitehart Sightseeing

I reckon it's possible to get a sub 15 time on this mission pack if your computer has fast loading times. Would be interesting to see someone try to beat that time
