"Camo is a must have" No it's not.
You still get detected same range without any camo vs Turkey. (around 30-35m crouched)
When in a Treestand you don't really need camo either.
I have over 1337 kills with my Longbow at 100% kill rate.

That’s why I wrote any hunting stand, meaning vanilla towers work too, keep in mind it’s my first tutorial so I may have missed some things

I dunno, I think turkey just behave differently. I mean, yes, turkey can detect (read: look at) you at around 30m with or without camo. But camo and/or stands do seem to help prevent them from full on spooking once that does happen.

Also, movement. When they look at you, don't move, like at all. Don't even turn your head. Just sit absolutely still. Most of the time they'll just continue on there way, even the big boys. This is especially true when with stands after they get within 10m and is where most people mess up with turkey tbh. The turkey gets super close, looks at them, they panic and start fumbling with their bow hoping to get off a shot -- and the turkey runs.

Yes, I have used them in the big open fields of settler creeks, not too good in thick brush tho where a view from above the ground is better.
