Re: Wiki News / Updates
Wiki is up-to-date with all the lynx and e-caller stuff. I will try and add more facts and findings to the Lynx page as we learn more about it.

Yes, thanks Hoo for all the work you've put into the Wiki. It's been a great aid to learn A LOT fast, especially for someone like me who found TheHunter a long time after it came out.

Definitely! I've only hunted two lynx(es?) so far, but I've heard a bunch of those "quiet meows".Andhii wrote:"has no quiet meow like the bobcat." - Incorrect

Re: Wiki News / Updates
I am just seeing your posts now and can tell you I have changed the Wiki already an hour ago. The info came from EW but I guess the "quiet meow" wasn't clear. But apparently you guys know what I mean. That is definitely there. I have defined it as "short quiet meow" now. If you have a better term let me know.Tanngnjostr wrote:Definitely! Re: Wiki News / Updates
"quiet meow like the bobcat has" is pretty clear to me atleast since I'v hunted bobcats and now lynx, but it's understandable that EW representives can get that wrong, they don't play the game, they make it /s. Instead of removing the "lynx doesn't quietly meow like the bobcat" why not word it "the lynx does quietly meow like the bobcat? Keep up the good work, thehunterwiki is every hunters bible!HooCairs wrote:I am just seeing your posts now and can tell you I have changed the Wiki already an hour ago. I might have given Hoo some wrong information regarding the Meow. Sorry! Keep up the good work mate.

No worries Matt! Like said, that sound is a bit hard to describe certainly for a Swiss trying to wear the English pants. I was glad to hear that little sound, as it gives you that assurance that something is nigh.TreeKiwi wrote:I might have given Hoo some wrong information regarding the Meow. Sorry!
