Just checking into the forum after playing Classic for the last 3 years on and off. Maybe over 500 hours when I get the chance in the off season. Started hunting in high school in the 70's. Fortunate to actually live under the Big Sky in Montana for the last 3 decades, where I can actually hunt/fish IRL . Elk, deer , bear, wolf, and puma right out the back door. Turkeys, sheep, mountain goat, and antelope a few hours away. Used to work for hunting outfitters decades ago, guiding and leading packstrings. So Classic turned out to be a great relax in those winter/spring months when the real seasons are closed. Too cool. The elk/deer/turkey/ varmint hunting is a blast . Was never much of a wing shot IRL, but the goose/duck game options are challenging and turning out to be fun.
The Wikia has good information, when I was getting started, but found some of the great videos by HooCairs, ronMctube, and others that shortened the learning curve greatly early on . Have hunted 5 of the reserves pretty extensively, and am expanding to 3 more. Still lots of exploring yet to be done. Nice to have so much more options available to enjoy. Good to finally find this forum and read some great information from the community.
Safe travels out there.
Finally on forum after playing a few years.
