Id the tracks... Without the Huntermate. :)

Any idea who has left these tracks?

Looks like hooves, but a size of single trace is like a quarter coin. While the park where this photo was taken is full of whitetails, their traces are everywhere, but WTs leave tracks that are at least twice larger in diameter, and they break top layer of snow.
Roe deer do not live in wild in this area. WT fawns had grew up already. What else, a squirrel in Halloween deer suit? :)

It looks like squirrel tracks, if the snow is fresh the tail leaves a trail which is absent in the photo, and from time to time the front legs leave 2 small dots.

Yeh, squirrel, rabbit, other small hopping animal. Where are you? What other small animals in area.

Next time, capture a human footprint in the picture for frame of reference (size), and depth of snow.
It's "Tod", with one bloody 'd'!

Nice... Wherever I lived before, squirrels either walked by cleaned pavements at winter, or were sleeping until spring in parks. Thanks!

As for other small animals in area, the park announces fox, skunk, raccoon and mink. But they do not have anything common with these tracks.

Tree squirrels don't hibernate. Although less active than during the rest of the year, they still venture out a few hours most days to raid the caches of nuts they stashed around during the fall.
Personal Bests...
