Well some mushrooms (fungi) looks and smell pretty nasty and by some folk certain species is considered delikacy for example juvenile examples of Phallus impudicus (common stinkhorn). Mature examples smells really horribly bad... As a person from country where mushoom hunting (picking) is almost national hobby, I would stick to few common and surely edible species such as King Bolete (or any true Boletes) and queen between forest fungi the Golden Chantarelle. I beleve it's Amanita Muscaria
Elmer Fudd is the ultimate hunter. He never catches the wabbit, but he never gives up ;)
