thank you. i wasn´t sure if anything would show up that evening, because the wind had blown that stand over just a day prior. We had to set it up again just a few hours before i started my hunt.

Could it be possible to see what this setup / stand , looks like from the outside ?
Looks to be also , in a pretty open field .

Yes i went to Namibia last year. And i want to hunt there again as soon as i can. But since i am awaiting the birth of my first child i lack the Time and money to go there anytime soon

Actually, Namibia is a part of my honeymoon trip, so I know just too well what you mean :-D

Haven't been on in a minute. here's my turkey from this spring. Didn't pull any tags for the fall, so i'll be focusing on black bear through September. Then helping on a few elk hunts throughout the fall.

Had the chance to go out thee again and i was able to bag this little roebuck. i was only there for about 20 minutes when he showed up.
i used my Sig Sauer SSG3000 in .308 win and used the new RWS Hit Short Rifle, wich is optimized for short barrels, but i have a 26" barrel, so that 150 grain lead free bullet travels really fast and is very flat shooting.

this fox i shot about 2 weeks ago , also with my SSG3000. it came in last light and was about 250m away. i hit it a bit far back, so i had to put it down with a shot from my 1911 in .45ACP.
