Weird looking antlers . Amazing .

Post by DYEUZ »

Was searching the web , to see if in real life , the Reindeer antlers would be as narrow , as the ones we have sometimes in the game .
I then arrived to that link ! Amazing i thought it was .

Wow, those are some pretty ugly antlers. Some of them have even taken away an eye...gross. Not to mention what looks like fungus on some of the heads. I would have never believed somethin' like that if someone simply told me, seeing it though, makes me think the NTs on EHR aren't so far fetched as I had first assumed. I've never seen a NT in real life, but have seen a lot of Typicals. Still I think the NTs are as ugly as hell. Thanks for sharing that link though, excuse me while I go vomit...   Peace.

Yep, nature has its way of making us think, that is for sure. It proves that even wildlife has its imperfections. ;) Peace.

Yeesh, don't know if I'd want to shoot one of those or not! Some of those roebucks get some pretty nasty looking mounds of horn on their heads!

I need to go look at some pictures of some nice clean typicals now.

Very good Q !

Not sure i would either .
Ones with fungus and stuff like that , probably not .
Ones with abnormal racks and extra tips and curves and all , i really don't know .

When you think about it , one hunter, when going out , is looking to get a nice '' normal '' specimen to show , not a wacko rack .
A NT rack is another thing imo . But some of the pics are really abnormal and sick .

Might do a poll on this . ;)

I mean I'd probably shoot one if it came out just because I'm not very picky and you can't eat the antlers anyways. As far as what I find appealing, I'd rather have "normal" looking nontypical if that makes sense. One with more of a typical frame but with kickers and drop-tines and stuff like that. A poll would be interesting.

There´s a few roebucks in there and those never stop to amaze me with the variety of their antler growth. Roebucks can grow close to everything on their heads.
