Awww, they're growing way too fast, I will miss them.

That's probably how parents feel with their kids too, huh?

I think it was fish, swear I saw the rear fin of a fish- of course Pops only brought half of whatever it was.

Definitely fish! Oh man, one of the babies almost nailed the cam with a dump! what's funny is I was just thinking about that- "what if they nail the lens with poop

Which makes total sense, after all, it is an Osprey who feed mainly on fish. :)

Well, we don't have Osprey and not really familiar with them other than their existence. Seeing it was all wooded I would have expected rodents or something. It was interesting reading about them after you said that.

What was neat was, when I turned it on, just the chicks- then here came mom. Then she started calling constantly and within a few minutes dad shows up with a fish, or half a fish. So good timing.

I always thought that there are 3 Eagle types in Germany. (The camera is not based in Germany I think) But discovered just today that are actually 4!

Seeadler-Eurasian Seaeagle-Haliaeetus albicilla
Steinadler-Golden Eagle-Aquila Chrysaetos
Fischadler-Osprey-Pandion haliaetus
Schreiadler-Pommeranian Eagle-Clanga pomarina (These birds travel to southern Africa during the European Winter!)

Biggest first.

See the babies got tagged a few days ago - I wonder how long before they fly off? they're flapping their wings a lot lately, starting to feel the wind.

If you want to catch the osprey's do it soon! They are getting restless and really flapping their wings. The male chick was in flight within the nest today, he's close!
