Bird cameras

Post by Tanngnjostr »

I found those on the German theHunter forum (huntertalk.de) and thought I'd share them!

An osprey's nest: http://tv.eenet.ee/kalakotkas2.html
And a black stork's nest: http://tv.eenet.ee/must-toonekurg.html

It seems both cameras are in Estonia.

Neat videos Marc. Live cams are pretty cool. When I was little I used to sit for hours watching a wolf live cam set up in the U.P. I only ever saw once, but that was really cool.

There´s also some more cameras available from the main Estonian page. In the winter there used to be a camera by a feeding spot for red deer (boars also visible) and also one camera for roe deer. So there´s a collection of different cameras for different seasons.

The nestlings are growing fast. And those black storks are just too cute! :)

What amazes me is that the Eagle's nest is way at top of trees . You can see it swing with the wind . watched the mature one groom its feathers many minutes .
The other species are not that cute really .

thx for sharing ;)

Oh man just got the best show of the Ospreys - clicked on it just in time to see them take a dump! They raise their butt in the air and shoot a stream of what looks like snow white paint! all of them within seconds of each other! .... Looks like it's rainy there, mom was working them all into a bundle tucking them in close.

So what I gather is, if you're stupid enough to wonder "Hey, I wonder what's over the edge of this thing over hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee............... Well, those kind of genes don't passed on. It's unfortunate humans don't have a similar mechanism.

Oh man! Mom just brought dinner! They're having a feast! Mom rips it up in small pieces - Just like mom used to do wit ha PBJ, trim the crust and slice it diagonal ... super trick!
