Congrats! Looks like you had a pretty good day!

Turkeys are still winning. I'm getting closer though!

Thanks everybody for the kind words!

It is indeed one of the better ones. I got some bucks that are heavier and I got some with thicker Antlers or longer beams, but I´ve never killed one with longer antlers. How are you doing so far?

I didn´t get out on thursday evening and didn´t see anything yesterday, but friday turned out to be good again:

The funny thing is that I didn´t even see a yearling buck or doe the whole season so far. It´s always the whoppers that come out :D

I'm only hunting online... though I've already (accidently) chased a few roe deer during my walks in the fields and forests. I have a tendency to find their sleeping places and wake them up - and usually I'm just as scared as those guys when they jump out of the brush. ;)

I´m living just over the creek, then ;)

A nice little yearling from yesterday morning. I had promised my neighbour a smaller deer for his birthday BBQ on wednesday, so it was really getting time for it now:

Yearling from this evening. I am pretty amazed how the yearlings developed this year. I am only seeing decent ones so far by means of antler growth.
