That's a crazy one! I saw that yesterday I think the score was 1" higher than the current record

Wow, that's pretty nice one. I almost suspect that that deer came from a farm, they just don't do that in the wild. I don't know though.
When I first saw the picture before clicking on the article, I was thinking mule deer, not whitetail :lol:

How can you assume it's farm raised until the decision of where it was taken and how accurate the antlers are after the drying period.
They do occur in the wild and when they do they can be astonishing oversized.
No farm raised bucks are allowed in official scoring records and it would just make him look like a fool if he tried it.
Anyway it's Saturday morning and I should be in the woods right now.... since it is the rut....
I know where a buck is hanging out and I should be out there tagging it....Ha ha!!!
and it looks like a great looking sunny cold day is in store.........

I said suspect, not assume. There's a difference. I know that they do occur on occasion, I'm just always a bit skeptical.
Good luck this morning. Saw two bucks cruising, one was a real dandy, just no shot opportunity

Crazy rack, so much of it an so many branches, must be dificult to score a NT as they vary so wildly.
