That's a crazy one! I saw that yesterday I think the score was 1" higher than the current record

Wow, that's pretty nice one. I almost suspect that that deer came from a farm, they just don't do that in the wild. I don't know though.

How can you assume it's farm raised until the decision of where it was taken and how accurate the antlers are after the drying period.InstinctiveArcher wrote:Wow, that's pretty nice one. I almost suspect that that deer came from a farm, they just don't do that in the wild. I don't know though.

They do occur in the wild and when they do they can be astonishing oversized.
No farm raised bucks are allowed in official scoring records and it would just make him look like a fool if he tried it.
Anyway it's Saturday morning and I should be in the woods right now.... since it is the rut....
I know where a buck is hanging out and I should be out there tagging it....Ha ha!!!
and it looks like a great looking sunny cold day is in store.........
Just right........

I said suspect, not assume. There's a difference. I know that they do occur on occasion, I'm just always a bit skeptical.gas56 wrote:How can you assume it's farm raised until the decision of where it was taken and how accurate the antlers are after the drying period.InstinctiveArcher wrote:Wow, that's pretty nice one. Good luck this morning. Saw two bucks cruising, one was a real dandy, just no shot opportunity
