I am a scientist, yes. A non-believer as well, as was not difficult to guess, I guess...

Now, sure we do have our local monsters in Germany, and sufficient people beliving in them. Black leopards are very popular atm. It will never become boring from that side...

I just was curious, I'm not well versed on what europeans think go bump in the night...

We have 3 major myths, maybe a 4th

1st is yowie (aka australian bigfoot)
2nd would be the tasmanian tiger (a lot of people still claim to see them from time to time, although they have been "extinct" for several decades now)
3rd would be panther sightings, we have more and more of them each year, and huge cat tracks keep being found
and finally, and this one i find harder to believe, escaped gorillas running around our bush...
Just don't buy that last one

Corpus Delecti?

Show me an actual specimen (alive or dead) or even real skeletal remains and I'll be a believer.

For this type of animal to exist, it has to procreate.Meaning there must be "little" Bigfoots (Bigfeet :?: :?: ) ambling around somewhere. Why is EVERY "sighting" only of adult specimens? Where are the adolescents?

Interesting myth...right up there with the Devil has a set of horns and Nessie.

:P Do you think its real though Dere? Tell me more anyway, im googling as we speak :D

And i've seen youtube videos showing several different sized shadows that are said to be a bigfoot family checking out a camp, and i have heard/read plenty of sightings stating they have seen young or small bigfoot.

As for remains, and why we haven't found any yet, maybe they practice a primitive form of religion, and burying the dead is part of it?

Is this a dead one? I don't know but it looks pretty real.

As for my pics:

Here's the best one we've gotten and the creature that made it cleared this 10 foot road in two steps.

I want to believe...it's hard though.

I recently came across this article which has a lot of the best Bigfoot videos around if anyone's interested.
