Well, I'm thirteen and I personally have 3 410's, one 243's, one 30-06, 2 22's, a 12 guage, 2 16 guages, and too many bb/pellet guns to count. (Raised around hunting/fishing/guns) Me and my dad together have 20 some odd guns.

A friend of mine has a 16 gauge double barrel and I was surprised by how much more it kicked compared to my 12 gauge.

I dont get why people say 12G kicks, i am a small person and shot 3'' #2 38gr shells in one hand with my pump-action so they cant kick to bad.

I'm 13 years old and have shot 12 gauge many o' time and if I could shoot it anyone can. And @Master Hunter the gun I have is a Winchester Model 12 16 gauge. I just read that it could fetch up to $1000 for a certain year model. Not sure wat year mine is.

But.... 16 gauges fire smaller shells, how would that work? Was the 16 loaded with a slug or something?
