Red Dead Redemption 2

Post by Giuh »

The prequel to the amazing Red Dead Redemption. They just released a gameplay reveal trailer where we can see -amongst many other amazing things- hunting and fishing. The first one coming with a tracking system and then collecting the piece to transport it in your horse and eventually feeding your "family" or selling it.

The hunting features I'm talking about is showed @ around 5:00.

Thoughts about the game? I'm really excited since I loved the first RDR game.
Since 2012 sucking at theHunter :D

Looks like an extremely good game. It's just a shame Rockstar takes so long to release on PC, and that's not even a guarantee. I'm not sure whether there are plans for a PC release of this title. I hope so, but until it's announced officially, I will refrain from getting too excited.

They are just about always releasing on PC. Red Dead Redemption pretty much the only excemption. Usually takes less then 5 month so that is my guess.

Spent so many hours playing the original, when this one comes out it'll be like old times and i'll be glued to the TV and PS4.

Curious as well. Read a lot of complaints about the slow walking animations and the time it takes to do mundane tasks? Is it something that bothers also the more patient folks around here with longer attention span to get that Diamond?

It's easily one of the best games I've ever played. The attention to detail is far beyond anything else out there. The character development is fantastic. I would highly recommend anybody that is a gamer to play this game, ESPECIALLY gamers that appreciate the slower pace of theHunter.

All that being said, the Online aspect of the game is not worth touching. For monetary reasons, too many features from the SP experience are removed to encourage microtransactions in online. There are zero microtransactions in the SP game.
