Avalanche Studios bought back by Nordisk Film
All the market shares of Avalanche studios were bought by Nordisk. Has to see if it will have an impact on the license " thehunter " Call of the wild (and Primal also).

A small clip from the article. Quote "Under Nordisk Film’s ownership, Avalanche Studios’ strategy will remain unaltered.
It will continue as a creatively independent game studio, developing its own IP’s, as well as catering to third-party publishers
and license holders. Following the deal, co-founders Christofer Sundberg and Linus Blomberg will remain at Avalanche Studios,
focusing on the creative and technical aspects of its games development. The management team, with CEO Pim Holfve at the helm, will also continue unchanged."

Lots of inaccuracies in that announcement when it comes to theHunter. Avalanche does not develop theHunter on its Apex engine, as stated.

From the press release. "The studio develops games using its proprietary Apex technology, enabling huge open worlds filled with emergent gameplay."ronMctube wrote:does it say classic is made on Apex ? Apex is the new engine they use.for their modern games.call of the wild included.
This statement above is not true.
This statement below is true.
"The studio develops SOME games using its proprietary Apex technology, enabling huge open worlds filled with emergent gameplay."
Do you see how they conveniently left out that theHunter is not developed on the Apex engine, while at the same time extolling their company and it's modern game engine?
You can call it marketing, I call it a falsehood by omission.
