CPU: AMD Athlon X2 3000 64bit
RAM: 4GB god-knows-what-type
GPU: XFX NVIDIA 8800 GTS 320MB
MOBO: ASUS M2N-SLI with 560 chipset i believe

other: 350 + 80 GB disks at 7200 rpm, 450W PSU, Creative Labs Soundblaster 16-bit which is now, i don't know, 10 years old? casing and 80GB disk are counting year 7 now...

yep, it's an old rig, but since i don't have a need for higher resolution than 1280x960 (old crt monitor) i can still play pretty much everything without any problems or lag... heck, i run crysis (on dx9, though) with everything maxed except shadows and AF at 30-45 FPS. TH runs at around 45 on LP and around 30 at WH with everything maxed except shadows (High instead Very High), AF 2x and AA 16x....

Yeah even tho I play for the "Red Team" I will say that the 8800's were and still are a damn capable card. :ugeek:

yep...it was the best of the best buy back then...it's defo not almighty but take my low res monitor into account and you can see why it runs everything...of course, i have to make compromises now and then here and there regarding video settings, but hey, i won't have to buy new rig for at least year or two... :D

Thanks. I think I've spent as much if not more making the case the way I wanted as I spent on the case.

That's the newer version, unfortunately wasn't available when I got mine.

And your guy's prices suck lol. I can get the higher version of that for $89 where it costs you £80 (about $120 according to google)

I've been running my settings on medium and using my below gaming rig. Sometimes the graphics don't look amazing as you folks with the high end rigs.
