I liked the M1 too. It came with the muzzleloader which was good. I just used it for elk. I feel a connection to the gun because my dad used one in WW2 and talked about it a lot.

Looking at Ron's video reminded me why I left COTW. One of the reasons anyway. Just way too many animals. I forced myself to shoot only one at a time by having to walk back to the outpost after every kill.

the M1 is amazing gun. it may seem like there is too many animals but once you start focusing on trophy animals its not that easy. cool to hear your dad used to use one.

You may be right about the trophy animals Ron. I never actually put any effort into doing that.

Yeah, dad loved the gun and it saved his butt a few times because it was semi-auto.
