Here's what I think after an exhausting 15 minutes of trying to understand it - I'm glad this is not what I found when I first stumbled upon THC. Of course this isn't exactly fair to base judgement on but it's like trying to learn to walk all over again as nothing is the same. My worst problem is my machine doesn't appear to be able to run it even on low settings and I thought I had decent specs but my GTX745 w/4gb doesn't get it done. So I turned it all down to minimum and the quality of the gfx disappears so there's no point for me to even attempt it until I make another upgrade and dropping $4-500 on a card just to play it aint happening, for THC I'd do anything I had to but not for this. I do like the render distance, I noticed I was able to shoot at a roe deer and a fallow deer laying down in the distance didn't do anything but trying to aim the gun for that first kill made me drunk swaying all over the place
... like I said, it's learning to walk all over again but from what I can tell is, you can't go into this game with the thoughts this is an improved "Hunter 2" because it's not in the same universe which seems to be the prevailing thought. I do look forward to being able to try it again in the future but until then I'll enjoy watching YT vids occasionally.
