What is the render distance?
What is the render distance.
THis has been asked multiple times, including on your stream. It was never answered.
You claim a "Yup play the BETA to find out" is an answer. It is NOT. Why continue the secretiveness you had with Classic? Why not just give a number?

I'll let you know when I get home from work. At least as far as I can range with the range finder. I wouldn't be surprised if Mctube or hoocairs know though!

Why can't the devs just...you know, tell us? They have always been so secretive about how the mechanics of their game works. I am still doubting the camoflage does anything.

A screenshot from Mctube places it at at least 362m https://postimg.org/image/dwd3gzzu9/. Pretty good, but would need more to allow us to really open up spot and stalk as a tactic. For me, figuring out the render distance for CoTW is #1 on the list.

Furthest animal I have seen and shot was 310m, it's hard to tell if it's more because you can see terrain further but whether animals still render not sure yet

About 400 meters it seems: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =814562716
But you know, it's just a number and it's not THAT different from 200 meters in theHunter "Classic". I mean, they could trick people by saying that it's 800 meters and I'm sure everyone would believe it and be happy with it.

Re: What is the render distance?
That is what I am worried about. They say it is 400m. But is it really? Is that the scale? It could be the same distance, but just different numbers on the front
