Re: Gadwall
I voted the audio for the gadwall as horrible because their flyover sound includes the sound of a red-winged blackbird which is not even a duck. Listen to the bird in this video:

Re: Gadwall
the gadwall is one of my favorite ducks to hunt IRL but the ones in-game look nothing like the ones irl. The gaddies in the game are white while gadwals irl are dark grey.

Re: Gadwall
I only ever find like 1 Gadwall among every 60 AMD, mallard or pintails.
Why are the Gadwalls so rare compared to all other ducks?

Re: Gadwall
biggest issue i have with the gadwall is the caller, a single toot just sounds odd and a bit lazy compared to the mallard short range that has an actual call and not just a quick rasp. same as the pintail caller. atleast make it an actual call that longer than0.5 seconds

Re: Gadwall
Considering that you live in the UK, you have probably never hunted gadwalls irl. I have a gadwall call and when I us eit on gaddies, I only do about one toot per 10 seconds, the call is all perfect other than the fact that the guy on the game is blowing backwards in it.L3M182 wrote:biggest issue i have with the gadwall is the caller, a single toot just sounds odd and a bit lazy compared to the mallard short range that has an actual call and not just a quick rasp. same as the pintail caller. atleast make it an actual call that longer than0.5 seconds
The other call problem is that when they fly over i always hear a red-winged blackbird, going: ehhr-wheeeeeeeeeeee!
