Im not sure if this will ever be a problem, but if i hit a bear badly with my bow its going to run pretty far..
Im hoping that i can tell my dog to follow this track until it finds the bear again no matter how far it is.
If this is the case, how nice would it be if we had a GPS collar on the dog so we can see it on the huntermate?
A scenario im imagining is that you and your dog have been tracking for a while and you stumble upon a nice male moose you want to take down.
You shoot the moose anddo your own thing and your dog just keeps following the blood trail, if it gets out of sight you can check your huntermate to see where the dog is.
Also a bark indicator is pretty common these days on those collars, so having that would be nice too, so you can check your huntermate and see a alarm going off that your dog is barking and then you just have to start running to give the final shot on the wounded animal.

I can see it be a help if you can not keep up with the dog
