New Hound Dog

Yesterday, i try again and when i finally got a body shot on hog, the tracking start, after a while i found the dog stuck between 2 rocks, he couldn't get our of it on his own, had to call him to me and then order him to re-track, which worked and it was fine, but again after long tracking, i found the hog my self and the dog again was not barking... and my dog is level 5 now, is this a bug or is there something i should be aware of, who do i contact from Devs to talk about this in details ?
