Heel command
We have a 'Come here' command, but I feel it's insufficient.
What it does is just make the dog run to you if you told it to stay or sit/lie down somewhere, and then the dog just runs around freely.
Could we have a "Heel" command which makes the dog walk up to you and stay close, or sit down next to you?
This would make it much easier to get the dog back if you need to lie down to take a shot and don't want the dog to run around in area in front of you (which it does when you use "Come here").
It would also make it easier to set up trophy shots since the dog would be sitting next to you then, rather than run around all over the place.
Optionally... make the "Come here" command function as a "Heel" command.

Re: Heel command
Yes! I think this is absolutely necessary. It's one of the first and most important things to teach a young dog IRL - especially a hunting dog. After all, both the success of your hunt as well as the dog's safety can depend on it.
I'm really glad we can't shoot our dogs in the game, because I can't count how often he appeared right in my crosshairs while I was taking aim at something. "Heel" would prevent that. I think it's fine to let your dog do some free roaming when you are just walking around. But I'd love have the option to give him a "Heel" command as soon as I become aware of other animals, rather than just telling him to stay and let him fall behind.
So yeah, great idea!

Re: Heel command
+1 this would help a ton wild and crazy pup doesn't always listen even when stopped even tho im sure that will change while traning I still feel as if a "heel" command would be more effective vs the "come here"

Re: Heel command
Thumbs up for "heel". Dogs leading, blocking path and sightline and even pushing around their owners like it is in the game right now are not acceptable.

You don't always have the time to make the dog lie down and stay when setting up a shot. Usually I tell Judy to stay and then I move forward to where I want to shoot from, but having a heel command would also help you from tripping over the poor mutt when you go off running.
