Scent Hound Coyote problem

I was on WHI in sp
took a Coyote scent hound tracked it when he found it dog did not bark
dog is level 19 30.3%

Are you sure he actually "found" it then, or is it possible that he was just in the immediate area of the dead coyote? Often, they'll walk right over one without officially seeing it, or they'll stop tracking & sit there, either waiting for you to get closer or they've lost trail. When they've officially located the animal they'll bark, move around the animal, bark, move, rinse & repeat.

HI Hawkeye I was walk behind the dog it put it noise down on it was lie he was trying to move it but no sound

Are you standing or crouched? The dog only bark if you are stand and not crouch.

Hey...I'm thinking if he put his nose down on it, he was probably still "tracking" and didn't trigger locating the animal. He might have hit the collision of the animal and stopped him. When he has it located, he'll be moving all over the place, in a perimeter around it.
