After having mine for a little over a week i'm pretty happy with mine. It has found every animal I put it to tracking once or twice it lost the trail but putting it on the last track found it picks it right back up. Today I was out hunting whitetail bucks I was calling one in and had the dog laying 20m behind me a doe came in from behind and pretty much walked right over him never spooked it and the dog stayed still and just keep laying there.abslayer wrote:After a lot of testing on this dog Blood hound I stand on what I said at start of thread DOG NEEDS WORK
If it is a simple tracking job that you really don't need dog he works great.
If you have a long hard tracking job and you really need him HE SUCKS

The dog doesn't spook animals when is in laid down position, so you can be in a treestand with the dog at the feet and deer will come and walk like nothing. I recommend to have the "laid down" and "come here" commands in keys easy to reach, in case of a sudden encounter with an animal you press the command so the dog doesn't scare the prey.
"Turkeys...the only animal smarter than man."
