As you can see in the picture above, the dog's reflection in the water is behind him. The reflection is apparant in the ripple effect of the water. However, no matter how you orientate the dog or position yourself, the reflection is always behind the dog. In fact, in a few instances I have briefly seen more of the dog's reflection, which actually is slightly bigger the further out (real perspective). I think that this fact is interesting even though we can never see the reflection off the water where its suppose to be. I did a quick search and saw that no one else's has commented about this at least the search words I used did not result any topics or posts about this.
